Integrations (third-party + paid add-ons)
Use this page when you want a one-page map of every system Lyt-ning connects to and how to set each up.
Goal
You need to see every integration Lyt-ning supports and know which menu to open for each one.
Where this happens
Lyt-ning puts every third-party and paid-add-on connection under two sidebar locations in the Core App. Most require franchise-admin permissions.
- In the back office (Core App): open Add-ons & Integrations in the left sidebar for Reset Account, Lyt-Accounting, Manage Online Store, Cash.co.zm, and Loyalty Setup (SAGE / SAGE 300 / SAP appear there when the add-on is enabled for your franchise). Open System & Settings → Till & Payments for Payment Methods, Kazang Settings, and Smart Invoicing.
- In Lytning Analytics: opens from the Core App's Reports & Analytics sidebar group with SSO.

Signed in to the Core App as a franchise admin.
Steps
Third-party integrations
- Smart Invoice — Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) compliance. Lyt-ning prepares invoices and submits them to the ZRA Smart Invoice system. Open System & Settings → Till & Payments → Smart Invoicing.
- SAGE / SAGE 300 — Accounting export. Lyt-ning posts daily totals to your SAGE ledger. Appears in Add-ons & Integrations when the add-on is enabled for your franchise; no fixed sub-path.
- SAP — Larger enterprises. Lyt-ning posts via SAP BAPI. Appears in Add-ons & Integrations when the add-on is enabled for your franchise; no fixed sub-path.
- Kazang — Mobile money and voucher redemption. Open System & Settings → Till & Payments → Kazang Settings.
Paid add-ons (Lyt-Analytics / Lyt-Accounting / Online Store / Cash.co.zm / Loyalty Setup)
- Lytning Analytics app — Deeper reports: sales by cashier, expense breakdown, multi-store comparison, cash-flow, income statement. Open Reports & Analytics in the sidebar — Lytning Analytics opens in a new browser tab with single-sign-on (not from "Add-ons & Integrations").
- Lyt-Accounting — Built-in ledger, expense categories, cash and accounts. Open Add-ons & Integrations.
- Online Store — Sell to remote customers via the Online Store add-on. Open Add-ons & Integrations → Manage Online Store.
- Cash.co.zm — Cash-on-delivery extension for orders. Open Add-ons & Integrations → Cash.co.zm.
- Loyalty Setup — Points-program configuration (the till's loyalty screen is the free version). Open Add-ons & Integrations → Loyalty Setup.
Expected result
Every Lyt-ning integration is reachable from one of the two sidebar locations: Add-ons & Integrations (Reset Account, Lyt-Accounting, Manage Online Store, Cash.co.zm, Loyalty Setup; SAGE / SAGE 300 / SAP appear there when the add-on is enabled for your franchise) or System & Settings → Till & Payments (Payment Methods, Kazang Settings, Smart Invoicing). Lytning Analytics opens from the Reports & Analytics sidebar group.
Edge cases
- Smart Invoice subscription expired — see the dashboard banner for the Smart Invoice sign-up state, and ask Support to renew.
- SAGE / SAP connection failing — check the integration status under Add-ons & Integrations (SAGE / SAP appear there when the add-on is enabled for your franchise); the error glossary covers common codes.
- The Add-ons & Integrations sidebar group is empty or missing — your role doesn't have franchise-admin permissions; ask your franchise admin.
- A sync result looks different from yesterday — a regenerated integration may have new fields; ask Support for the current expected output format.
